What exactly does Scoops sell?

Scoops offers two different types of auctions:

1. Estate Auctions - which feature the entire contents presented by a single individual, and;

2. Vault Auctions - which are curated consignment auctions featuring vintage furnishings. Buy our stuff, or work with us to sell your stuff!

How Much Does it Cost to Sell?

The cost to sell with Scoops, either an entire estate or item, typically ranges from 20-40% of the proceeds from the sale. We have a sliding scale that rewards higher valued items. There are administrative and marketing costs that are due up front, but they are typically negligible relative to the overall transaction.

We also provide premium services such as restoration, organization, and clean outs - which may also impact the overall cost.

Are my belongings appropriate for auction?

Scoops is interested in inventory for two types of auctions:

1. Estate Auctions - We love to clear out and auction homes with collectibles, vintage furnishings, or high value items. Although we’re happy to help tidy up tougher jobs, we’re not always looking to sell the contents from these. We have to say no quite often.

2. Vault Auctions - Our vault auctions feature all types of vintage furnishings that are collectible in nature. We love vintage furniture, lighting, artwork, glassware, etc. Please inquire if you have any desirable furnishings.

We also have a B&M presence in Philadelphia which offers additional flexibility, but there are often situations when estates need to be emptied by a certain date.
